Located inside the new concourse of Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport, this space was an expansion concept of a local craft brewery by the same name. Working with HMS Host and the Birmingham Airport Authority, we took a cold dark shell space and turned it into a destination stop for inbound and outgoing passengers.

The application of thin brick to the interior walls along with the galvanized metal counter/bar top, a blackboard painted menu board, and the angle iron installed around the storefront glass add an industrial feel to this space in a town built from iron ore beginnings. Twin vertical steel pipes hide beverage lines inside that originate in the back of house walk-in cooler and terminate at the taps behind the bar. We also built out a small kitchen area for the preparation of specialty food items in the back of the space.
